SoundOut Improv Choir

This past weekend I took part in a SoundOut Improv Choir workshop with Viviane Houle.

There were 22 participants (all women for better or worse) and we had such a hoot! I haven’t laughed so hard in a long while.

When I learned about the workshop I was quite intimidated by the improv aspect. But now I can see, as Viviane said, that training for improv is good training for life. We are improvising all day long and I think this practice will help me to be just a little more fearless. It already did that in the workshop context, in just a few hours over the weekend.

Bravo, Viviane! Can’t wait for the next round!
