Septemberness

Wow, how does 3+ weeks go by so fast? I guess I’ve been busy. I kicked up my workouts to 3X a week. Time-consuming, but I’m sure feeling a lot better thanks to Charlene’s great coaching.

I designed Shelley Morris’s new web site during the summer and Christine launched it last week. It’s always nice to see your design come to life.Shelley Morris Business Services

My new role as chair of PR for Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast has also been busy and interesting. I’ve had the opportunity to do simple print designs for them which is great. I also did a quickie microsite on how you can support Habitat on the Sunshine Coast. Soon we’ll revamp the main site. If you’re on the coast and have any Habitat questions or want to get involved, feel free to get in touch.

We celebrated my Mom’s sixtieth birthday last week and as part of that my siblings and step-dad committed to going with her on a rafting-camping trip in the Grand Canyon. Have you done this? Any tips?

And, the puppies are maturing nicely. They love: cuddling, the beach, the forest, and good food. Just like their mama :-)

My big pup Maggie
My big pup Maggie, at Cliff Gilker park… one of our favourite places. So much to take in! She weighs about 15lbs more than Jack even though they’re littermates.
Little Jack
My little pup Jack in the foreground. Tough to get a good shot of these guys since mostly they are moving or sleeping, and my digital camera is too darn slow. Oh well, trust me, he’s unbearably cute.
