TV-B-Gone looks like just the ticket for saving my sanity sometimes. Maybe because I don’t watch TV at home I’m really annoyed by it when in pubs etc. Conversations tend to breakdown from lack of attention or at least become really trivial.

Is this a good thing?

Mike May was totally blind from age 3 through 46. His journal (or here) recounts some things you’d expect to see (“trees are so green”, etc.) but some really interesting things as well.
