Call me nostalgic. I’m enjoying it.

TV-B-Gone

TV-B-Gone looks like just the ticket for saving my sanity sometimes. Maybe because I don’t watch TV at home I’m really annoyed by it when in pubs etc. Conversations tend to breakdown from lack of attention or at least become really trivial.

GW’s Resume

OK, so I’m a latte-sipping suburbanite*. Get over it. No, I’m not American, but I am (surprise, surprise) anti-GW. Read his resume for a laugh and a cry: pdf or html
*I cringe at helping to boost this rant any higher in the search engines. But hey, that’s the web for you.

United States Patent 4,666,425

“A device for maintaining metabolic activity in a mammalian head which has been severed from its body at its neck…” Weird thing on the internet #9,487,768… via crackbaby, in a roundabout sorta way. Well, I guess if you had invented such a thing, you would want to patent it. Yuck.
