As an artist I find the eyecandy fabulous, inspiring, dumbfounding. There are so many incredible shapes and patterns in nature. The variety of behaviours and habitats is stunning.

I’ve written about Quest before; they’re a fabulous Vancouver organization that diverts surplus or near-expiry food from becoming waste so it can feed people in need. Last year they helped about 60,000 people per month and prevented about 3300 tonnes of viable food from ending up in local landfills. Wow!

It will be neat to see how Rosa Loves develops. The concept is fairly unique:
A personal story of need is heard, and inspires a t-shirt design.
The design is printed on the outside of the t-shirt. On the inside, next to the heart, that personal story is printed.
Proceeds from the sales go to meet that need.
