Creative Fundraising with Designer T-Shirts

It will be neat to see how Rosa Loves develops. The concept is fairly unique:

  • A personal story of need is heard, and inspires a t-shirt design.
  • The design is printed on the outside of the t-shirt. On the inside, next to the heart, that personal story is printed.
  • Proceeds from the sales go to meet that need.
  • All the designs are limited editions, sold only until the goal of that mini-campaign is met.

I think this is a really inspirational grass-roots effort. What do you think?

  1. This could be the awesomest thing I’ve ever heard.

  2. Very interesting angle and some really great designs on that site.

We recently started a fund-raiser for breast cancer research and it turned out great with so many supporters. We used American Youth Enterprise as they have every unique fund-raising program as well. The only thing they have different from Rosa is a larger spectrum of design possibilities, as they have a team of designers.

Anyway, keep up the good work. Great post!
