Take the red pill
This is one of the best awareness campaigns on factory farming I’ve seen yet. It’s such a tough subject to stomach that many of the films etc. make you turn away before you can hear the message. Put it in a cartoon and it’s a little easier to swallow… Enter the Meatrix.
Connected efforts well worth noting:
- The Eat Well Guide - search for suppliers of specialty meats: non-medicated, free range, etc.
- The Sustainable Table has info on why more traditional meats are better not just for the animals but for us, our environment, rural communities, and the workers involved in meat production.
